MANCHESTER, Manchester City manager, Roberto Mancini, assessing his club deserved to play in the Champions League next season.
Currently, City are third Premier League with 56 points. With the remaining eight parties, "The Citizens' still possible out of the top four. Their distance to Tottenham Hotspur who is ranked fifth just six points.
Even so, Mancini admitted sure it will not happen. He claimed to believe his team would fight it out for their dreams fulfilled.
"This year our target is to finish early in the season in the top four and qualify for the Champions League. I think we deserved to achieve this because we were on top throughout the season with (Manchester) United and Arsenal,"said Mancini.
"We now have eight games until the end of this season and we will do everything to be in the Champions League next season,"said the former Inter Milan architect.
On that occasion, Mancini also tried to analyze the prospects camp Eastlands in the future. "It's very difficult to predict, in football and circumstances may change every five weeks. In my opinion, Manchester City will become one of Europe's top clubs in the next five years," he concluded.
